Introducing JayD's Beef Wellington.
Succulent fillet surrounded with chestnut mushrooms and wrapped in buttery puff pastry. Tastes as good as it looks!

Cooking Instructions FOR INDIVIDUAL PORTIONS :

FOR BEST RESULTS HANDLE THE PRODUCT GENTLY AS IT IS FRAGILE AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.

  • Remove plastic packaging and place the frozen product (with the foil) on a cut out piece of baking/parchment paper on a tray or plate and let it defrost in the fridge for 24hrs.
  • After 24 Hours remove from fridge and leave out at room temp for 20 minutes.
  • Turn Oven on and set temp to : 220 or 210 if Fan assisted
  • Place empty baking tray in oven to heat up.
  • Brush the pastry with whisked egg yolk.
  • Once the oven reaches temperature remove the hot tray and place the product (STILL IN THE FOIL) on to the tray and then place it back in the oven. The lowest rack of the oven will produce best results.
  • FOR RARE - 10 mins
    FOR MEDIUM - 12-14 mins
    FOR WELL DONE - 15-18 mins
  • Remove tray from oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Remove foil tray with scissors or a sharp knife.
  • Enjoy! Can serve with a sauce of your choice poured over.
